Review of Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula
Inca and her furry little team of detectives had an awesome time in Sri Lanka. Not long after they returned home, they had to be on a plane to South Korea because 'Le Cordon Bleu' had given their mom a chance to be a judge at a cooking competition. Things were supposed to go perfectly for this traveling party because it seemed like the universe had decided to smile at them. But one thing Inca has always been associated with is adventure and drama. The adventure began even before the traveling party could get off the plane at their destination. Enzo was onboard, which smelled fishy to everyone on Inca's team. As time passed, the plot thickened, and they had to do what they could to escape this adventure in one piece. Will that be possible?
Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula was written by R.F. Kristi. She is an award-winning author who has written many books in which Inca and her little furry team are the stars. This review will be honest and free of bias. Let me first say that I did not dislike anything about this book. In the next paragraph, I will outline what I liked most.
Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula was almost perfect. What made it a little shy of perfection were the little errors I saw. But even that could not dampen my love for this book. I liked the images R.F. Kristi added to it. I also liked the cover page and the plot development. But what I liked most was the suspense it had. Sometimes I thought the characters had hit a roadblock, only for something surprising to happen on the next page. I did not expect this book to have the level of twists I saw. However, you will not catch me complaining about that.
I cannot regret reading Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula. I say I cannot do that because I never once had any negative thoughts about this book. It was edited professionally and had many twists to keep me interested in the plot. Since I did not dislike one thing, it is only fair to give it an excellent rating. Thus, I am happy to give Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula a rating of 5 out of 5 stars.
I happily recommend Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula to young readers below 13 years old who love interesting adventure stories. Another feature of this book is that it teaches much about the tense relationship between North Korea and South Korea. Those young readers will learn a decent bit about those two nations from this book.
