Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula by R.F. Kristi is a book about Inca's adventure in the Korean Peninsula. This Siberian cat had an eye for solving tough cases. She sprung into action when she learned that two siblings had been separated and had not seen each other in years. Inca's biggest wish at that moment was to put a smile on their faces, so it was no surprise that she chose to cross the border into North Korea. So much was at stake. If things went wrong, the worst could happen to Inca. If things went right, then she would be happy with herself. Can Inca reunite this family even when the odds are against her and the mission?

What I liked most about Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula is that it was written in the style of a diary. I have never enjoyed reading people's diaries. However, I liked reading this diary because Inca wrote about every funny thing she saw. I cannot count how many times I laughed while reading this. How R.F. Kristi managed to make Inca seem so real beats me.

Another thing I liked was the lighthearted tone in which it was written. R.F. Kristi did not hesitate to include humorous scenes in the book. For example, Fromage recounted his encounter with Enzo, his mom's competition, in a funny way. The way he always lights up like a light bulb whenever he sees cheese makes me smile.

I would like to give Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula a perfect rating because it merits it. It was edited professionally. It had only a few errors. I also did not dislike anything about it. There is nothing I would change about this book. So why won't I give it a perfect rating? So, since I can only say positive things about this book and nothing negative, I give it 5 out of 5 stars. It truly deserves that rating.

In conclusion, Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula is a book I recommend to readers who like short adventure novels with lots of house pets and are not scared to put themselves on the line to save those they care about. I also think this book should be read by every young reader between the ages of three and ten with a love for pets. They will enjoy reading this book. Inca's adventure is one that nobody will forget anytime soon.
