Inca and the gang are back for this action-packed book. Missy, their humanoid mom, gets invited to be a judge in a cooking competition in South Korea. The whole crew is happy, and they all wish to follow Missy.

Missy plans to showcase her new cheese recipe at the occasion. The cheesecake goes missing, and the team of detectives gets to work. At the airport, they meet Missy's rival, Enzo. Enzo is a fellow chef who always competes against Missy. They get to South Korea and discover that the cheesecake is missing. Who took it? To find out, grab a copy.

Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula by R.F. Kristi is part of a series but can be read as a standalone book. I like that the author did this. It enables readers to understand the book even if they haven't read the previous books. This book teaches readers many values, such as kindness, teamwork, humility, patience, and diligence. These values must be inculcated in children at a young age. Society would greatly benefit from it.

I learned a lot from this book. The author uses this chance to explain some of the history between South Korea and North Korea, the reason they split, and some of the agreements in place to ensure peaceful coexistence. The author also highlights the rules of the buffer zone. I like how brave the team was in the face of adversity. They never gave up, no matter how difficult the task might seem.

I found nothing wrong with the book. I also found no errors in the book, which indicates that it was well-edited. I happily give this book a rating of 5 out of 5 stars. It was well-written, and the pacing was good. I recommend this book to parents looking for books to use as bedtime stories. I also recommend this book to children who love reading about animals.
