Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula: Diary of a Snoopy Cat by R.F. Kristi is an animal tale that tells the story of Inca, a female detective who has cracked so many big cases. Inca has a detective team that includes Fromage, Cara, Charlotte, monk, Terrance, Polo, and Cara. The team soon heads to Korea to join Missy as she participates as a judge in a competition, but things soon go south as Missy's cake goes missing. The team must now try and recover the cake. Beyond that lie great cases for them in Korea, including crossing the border to North Korea. Pick up a copy to read about the team's adventure in South Korea.

The plot was brief and uncomplicated, moving at a rapid clip that didn't waste any time. Without any extraneous features or complications, it was simple and straightforward to understand. Despite its briefness, the story was able to make a point and leave an impression on the reader. The author skillfully drew parallels between the animal and human characters, resulting in an enjoyable reading experience for me. By highlighting the common traits and behaviours shared by both species, the story became relatable and engaging. It also provided a unique perspective on the similarities and differences between animals and humans.

The dialogue between characters was as simple as it could be, and not only that, the conversation was flowing. I would be remiss if I didn't mention how the beautiful illustrations affected this book; they made it stand out from other books like it. There are no errors in this book. It was exceptionally edited.

I will rate Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula: Diary of a Snoopy Cat 5 out of 5 stars. I thought hard and long enough to know if I could find a dislike or at least a suggestion for improvement, but I found nothing. This book is amazing, and as with every amazing book, it is worth giving it a full rating. I will recommend this book to readers who love reading short and interesting stories.
