Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula: Diary of a Snoopy Cat by R. F. Kristi is a children's book with various themes. The book starts with a family tree showing members of Inca's family. Inca and Company was the detective group that solved mysteries where Inca was the head of the detective company. The other members played different roles; for instance, Terrance was a detective doggy known for his bravery. Their human mother, Missy, was headed to Korea after getting a chance to be a judge in a cooking competition. She goes with the cat detective team. Upon arrival, they find their host had a lost sister and cat. Inca prepares her team to investigate the situation.

The book shows friendly interactions between people and animals, for instance, Inca's detective team and Missy, their human mother. It educates children to treat animals with respect and love them. The book has illustrations of the animals, such as the picture of Inca and the other animals. It made the book beautiful, attracting children to read it. The pictures also helped in reflecting since the pictures describe various animals in the book. It helped in character development since the author showed the pictures of the animals and described more about them. For instance, she showed Inca's picture and said she was the head of the agency.

I have nothing against the book. It is a charming book for children with creative characters; hence, nothing to dislike.

I rate Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula: Diary of a Snoopy Cat by R. F. Kristi five out of five stars. The book was exceptionally edited because I couldn't find a mistake. The book teaches children the right way to live with animals. The author uses illustrations to attract children and make the book beautiful. The structure was good since it enabled easy reading. The sentences were short since it was a children's book. With all these, the book deserves a perfect rating.

I recommend this book to children between five to thirteen years. It fits them because of the content it contains. It teaches them morals, such as treating animals with respect by showing friendly interaction between animals and humans.
