Are you a fan of books with animal characters, or do you own a pet cat or dog? Or do you have a little one or siblings who love cats? Then this book, Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula by R.F. Kristi, is the right children's book for you. It is illustrated by Jorge Valle.

This book is the eighth in the series, but it can be read alone. Inca is a Siberian cat, and she's the head of a detective team consisting of three other cats, a hamster, and two dogs. She is owned by a human named Missy, and Missy was invited to South Korea to be a judge at a very big baking contest, and the team of cat detectives followed her here and there. Even before they got to Korea, the cat detectives had a case of theft, and they swung into action to save the day, but what awaits them in Korea? Read this book to find out.

My attention was drawn to this book by the cute little grey cat on the cover wearing a dress that almost looks like a Korean hanbok, and once I got into the book, I couldn't help but love it. It's written in diary format, and the illustrations are just beautiful. The font used in the book is beautiful, and I haven't seen such a font used in a book before. The story is enthralling and filled with mystery. The characters of the cats and dogs were well developed, and their dialogues were well written.

This book celebrates the importance of teamwork and how the cats took risks on their missions and gave it their all. The importance of love can be felt in this book. I like that there's a family tree at the beginning of the book, and it made it feel like no character was strange while reading the book. The book is also funny and educational, which I really liked. It is exceptionally well edited, and I didn't spot any errors while reading it. I rate it five out of five stars.

I recommend it to children who love animals, especially cats and dogs; they will love this book even more. This book will be educational for school-age children, as they can learn the history of the Siberian tiger and many more things about the country named South Korea. From the bold and intelligent characters of the cats, they can learn boldness and love. Adults and teenagers will enjoy this book as well.

The Siberian cat detective team, led by Inca, and their adventures in South Korea seem to offer an exciting storyline. The fact that the book can be read alone, even as part of a series, makes it accessible for new readers

I love cats and dogs. While I have a good experience with dogs, I don't have any with cats since I admire them from afar. But a cat that leads a detective team, now that's one interesting story I don't want to miss. Great review.
