Review of Unicorns Know Magic
Unicorns Know Magic by Charles T. Adkins is a children’s book about four unicorns. They moved into a house next to that of two siblings. The unicorns' names are Abby, Georgia, Bitsy, and Chase. Each of these unicorns has distinct abilities. Abby can juggle many balls at a time, and Georgia can skate. Bitsy can stand on her head all day, while Chase can sing any song. They say they come from the stars and have lived on Mars.
The siblings made friends with the unicorns and enjoyed free rides on their backs. One day they went to have lunch in a restaurant in France, and the next day they saw the Queen in England. They also flew the kids to school. Find out what happens next when you read this book.
I enjoyed the writing style of the author. This was a children’s book written for children. The language was simple and easy to understand. The author also made use of rhyme patterns, which made the book all the more enjoyable. For fun, the book can be read in a singsong manner. The author also used graphical illustrations in the book that depicted what each page was saying. The illustrations were colorful. The illustrations looked like something a child could draw, and this will make it more relatable to children.
There was nothing I did not like about the book. Maybe it could have been longer, but that is my subjective opinion, and it does not affect my rating of the book. I rate it 5 out of 5 stars. My rating is high because of how much I enjoyed the book. It was exceptionally well edited, as I found no errors.
I recommend this awesome book to children below the age of 5. I also suggest that it be read to them by a senior sibling, a guardian, or a parent.
