Inca is a curious but lovable cat. She considers herself a top detective cat and hopes she'll make it to the headlines someday. Together with six of her 'furry' friends—Fromage, Cara, Monk, Charlotte, Terrance, and Polo—they make up the Inca and Company detective agency. They have solved many cases together and unraveled many mysteries. This time around, their humanoid mother, Missy, tells her that she had been selected to be one of the judges in the French Patisserie Competition organized by Le Cordon Bleu in South Korea. She would also debut her own cheese, 'La Crème de la Crème.' Would there be any mysteries for them to solve this time around? Find out in Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula by R.F. Kristi. However, one thing was assured—they would have fun.

I like how close the Inca and Company troupe is. They are such a well-coordinated team. They do everything together and appreciate themselves. Each member of the agency has their own unique personality, and they all appreciate themselves for who they are. For example, Inca, who is the leader of the team, is naturally curious and brave. Fromage is boastful, always bragging about how he helped Missy make the 'Crème de la Crème' cheese. The others also have their unique personalities, but one thing that sticks out with all of them is how adorable they all are. Also, each of them has unique abilities that are useful to the team.

I have no complaints about the book. It is enjoyable to read, and I love how the mystery is sustained throughout, making for a suspenseful read. Also, the characterization is perfectly done. I also appreciate the colorful illustrations. Finding no negative aspects to make me remove any stars, I rate the book 5 out of 5 stars. The editing quality is perfect, and there are no errors. This book is perfect for children who love detective stories with a tinge of mystery.
