Inca is a charismatic and capable feline detective who leads a team of highly skilled detectives on thrilling and action-packed adventures. In this children's novel, Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula, written by R.F. Kristi, Inca, and her team embark on a mission to the Korean Peninsula. It all started when Inca's mother, Missy, who happens to be a renowned cheese maker, was invited to judge a patisserie competition in South Korea. Inca and her team join Missy on this trip, eager to explore a new country and its culture.

The journey was intended to be smooth and lovely, full of fun and exploring new places until they discovered that Missy's biggest competitor, Enzo, is also a judge in the competition and may try to sabotage her presentation. They discovered Missy's cheese was missing on getting to the airport. Could it be that Enzo is the one behind the missing cheese? As they navigate this challenging situation, they meet Ye-Jun, their tour guide, who shares the heartbreaking story of his sister and her cat trapped in North Korea. Inca and her team decided to step in and help. Can Inca and her team recover the missing cheese, reunite the separated siblings, and help Missy win the competition?

The novel has many aspects I like, but I appreciated most the unique and fascinating concept of a detective agency run by cats with a human mother as their caretaker. Additionally, the setting of the Korean Peninsula provides a unique and exciting backdrop for the story, with cultural and political tensions adding to the tension and drama. The author did an amazing job of incorporating the culture and history of the Korean Peninsula into the story, which made it more engaging and educational. Another thing I like is the novel's pace; it is neither too slow nor too fast, and the writing style is simple yet vivid, making it easy to visualize the story's events in my mind.

I also appreciated the novel's message of the importance of friendship, teamwork, and perseverance, which was inspiring and heartwarming. This novel is simply amazing. It excels in every aspect and is exceptionally well-edited, as I couldn't find a single error while reading.

There's no denying that this is a perfect novel, and I have nothing to dislike about it. For all these wonderful features of this novel, I give it a rating of 5 out of 5 stars. I recommend this novel to young readers who enjoy an adventure story with a touch of whimsy and those who appreciate well-developed characters and a unique setting.
