Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula by R.F. Kristi follows the adventures of Inca & Company, a detective agency with Inca at its head. The company includes cats Inca, Fromage, Cara, and Monk; Charlotte, their hamster; and Terrance and Polo, their canine companions. Inca's mom, Missy, has been selected as a judge in the prestigious pâtisserie competition hosted by Le Cordon Bleu to be held in South Korea. The entire family goes to South Korea, and thus begins another exciting adventure for Inca & Company.

The writing is simple, easy, and heartwarming. This is a fun and exciting story with important information sprinkled throughout, which makes it an excellent children's book. The illustrations are wonderful and endearing. The relationship between the pets and their humans is truly incredible. The author successfully develops the plot in a captivating and suspenseful manner that appeals not only to children but also to adults.

I did not find any negatives in the book. I didn't find any errors, and the book is very well edited.

I give this book 5 out of 5 stars.
The writing style is commendable. I loved how the book was written like a journal. The events in the story are presented in chronological order. This was a very engaging way of writing. The imagery and descriptive style using simple language work very well. The illustrations in the book are splendid, colourful, and relevant. Inca is definitely a curious cat and a great detective. All the characters are adorable, and the pets have all of their realistic features included with their flair. This book is also very educational for children.

This book will be a fun read for all children between five and twelve years of age. I recommend this book to children who love detective stories and mysteries and to those who have pets and love animals. This is also a fun read for readers who enjoy adventurous animals and exciting mysteries.
