Review of Donny and Mary Grace's California Adventures
Children do not always react the same way to certain things. Some tend to adapt better than others, and some find it hard to let go of something they're already used to. Donny and Mary Grace can be seen to have different reactions to things in life in the book Donny and Mary Grace's California Adventures by Catherine A. Pepe.
After Mary Grace found out that her brother, Donny, was missing from the zoo, she did not hesitate to go looking for him. She loved her brother and was ready to protect him in any way she could. She and her parents found Donny, who was excited to go back to the zoo at any time. The news that changed their lives was the news of their parents leaving for work. Although Donny would miss them, he was ready to explore his new environment, but Mary Grace disagreed with her parents' decision. As they eventually get to go to a new environment with a new school and new friends, find out if Mary Grace will eventually enjoy her stay in this new place.
I truly love the relationship between Donny and Mary Grace. Their sibling relationship is so beautiful to read about, and I love how the both of them get to spend time together even when they have their school friends. Donny and Mary Grace's California Adventures is a book by Catherine A. Pepe that shares many beautiful moments. It shares a lot of beautiful family moments and friendships that thrive even in the face of hardship. This book also shares with the readers that your friends remain your friends, even with distance or any other hindering factor. I love that this book also focused on the incredible adults in Donny and Mary Grace's lives. These adults take care of them and shower them with so much love. These adults make sure to give them as much attention as possible and make them feel their love, and I believe that is essentially what children need.
I cannot point out one thing that I do not like about this book. I liked each of the characters in this book, and I liked that the author made these characters develop positively. The book was exceptionally well edited, and I would rate it 5 out of 5 stars because the book displayed or showed the love and importance of family and friends in a way that I believe everyone can learn from, and the book was written perfectly well.
I would recommend this book to people who would love to learn about how to appreciate one's family and friends, which is why I believe that this book is perfectly suitable for children. Even adults can read this book and learn a lot from it.
