Wow! I absolutely loved this book, Snatched Up to Heaven for Kids. As a devout Christian myself, I loved how thorough this book was about making sure the story aligned with what the Bible says about these specific topics and even providing the direct scripture references throughout the book. This could definitely help parents to be able to quickly find the scripture references and dive deeper with their children if they wished.

I could definitely see using this book with children in my life to explain to them about what salvation is and about the differences between heaven and hell. I was concerned at first that the hell section was going to get scary or too intense for children, but I really liked the way the author tied it back to why the little girl thought God was showing her this vision. I also like how the parents made time to talk, even waking up dad, when the daughter was scared.

I really liked the way that each time the child had a question, she went back to her parents who either reminded her of the truth in scripture or if they didn't remember exactly, they went to scripture. This is a lesson and reminder for parents/grandparents/guardians just like it is for children. I feel like using this book could really open up the dialogue and enable children and parents to have some deep discussions about things like faith, sin, God, etc. I like how in the book, it was a family affair, which reminded me of my own childhood. Both parents and children all took part in the discussion and read the Bible together.

This book addressed a lot of simple and natural things that children (and adults) ask about heaven and hell. "Are there animals? Do we eat? What do we do there?" It really covers a lot of the questions that a child might ask when first introduced to the concept, which I think is excellent.

This is a fantastic book that covers a highly important topic in a sensitive and child-like manner, with great illustrations. I highly recommend this book! It deserves a 5 out of 5!
