Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula is an engaging children's book written by R.F. Kristi. This book is the eighth installment in the Inca Cat Detective Series. The heartwarming tale centers around the charming cat named Inca and her loving household, making for a delightful read for children. Inca is also the owner of and operates a private investigation firm under the name Inca and Company. Inca's pride in her work is evident, and her management skills are put to the test as she navigates the challenges of the business. The protagonist of the story, Inca, is accompanied by her two siblings: Fromage, her brother, and Cara, her sister. The cast of characters in this agency is quite diverse, featuring not only the protagonist's siblings but also a hamster named Charlotte, a Russian cat named Monk, a large dog named Terrance, and a small Pekinese pup named Polo. The characters in the story live under the care of their human mother, Missy.

I enjoyed reading this children’s book for several reasons. One such reason is the storyline. It was fun and captivating. I liked how brave Inca and her team members were. This book has a lot of lessons to pass on to both children and adults. I also like the author’s style of writing. The use of unambiguous words or statements was avoided by the author. This made it easy for me to relate to this book. I also admire how the author started the book by explaining and illustrating the family tree. This helped me make sense of the whole book.

I will like to state that there is nothing I dislike about this book. I gained a lot from reading this book.

I will rate this book 5 out of 5 stars. This is because I had a lot of fun reading it. The book also contains some humor. This made me laugh at some point. The book was professionally edited. I only noticed a few errors.

I recommend this book to children of reading age. This book will also be suitable for people who would like to learn about the Korean Peninsula.
