Inca and her friends Clara, Fromage, Charlotte, and Terrance accompany Missy and Solo to South Korea. They meet the tour guide and translator, Ye-Jun, and his pet dog, Baram. The cats travel to South Korea for a cooking competition, where Missy, the humanoid mom of the cats, is one of the judges. Cordon Bleu Cookery, a reputed French cookery school, organizes the competition. There's a challenging case waiting for Inca and her company in South Korea involving the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ).

The eighth book in the Cat Detective series for kids is titled Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula by R.F. Kristi. It has 119 delightful pages filled with Inca, the Siberian kitty, her family, and friends. The book features friendly characters, a well-written plot, and an impressive array of lovely illustrations, all mixed in just the right amounts to create an unforgettable reading experience.

Positivity brings happiness, while negativity brings low self-esteem. I love how they supported their mom after discovering she was attending the competition; they were overjoyed to hear the news, which made her feel more confident and optimistic. Had they discouraged her, she might not have pushed further.

The fact that I found no errors while reading it demonstrates how expertly edited it was. There was nothing about this book that I disliked. I rate it 5 out of 5 stars. Overall, this book is a delightful adventure that will captivate readers of all ages. The vocabulary in this book is thoughtfully crafted to challenge young readers and improve their vocabulary and language skills while remaining age-appropriate, making it an excellent choice for a bedtime story for children aged five and above.

I recommend it to children, young teenagers, lovers of children's books, children's book libraries, and people who enjoy reading stories about the animal kingdom and investigative books, as they would find everything in this book intriguing.

This book is a powerful testament to the resilience and strength of the human spirit in the face of tragedy. Michelle Cowans story of overcoming the loss of her husband to a drunk driver is both heartbreaking and inspiring. The authors clear narration and use of simple language make it easy to connect with her experiences. I highly recommend Better Not Bitter to anyone who is going through a difficult period of loss or heartbreak.
