Snatched Up to Heaven for Kids, by Jemima Paul and Arvind Paul, who are husband and wife, is a wonderfully written book perfect for children. This book tells the interesting story of Emma and Bella, the two children of the author, and their experiences after Emma dreamed of heaven. This book is not only easy to understand for children but also compares the experience to the description of heaven in the Bible. This book is brilliant for educating younger children about heaven and God, along with incorporating some potential for more complex aspects of the Bible.

I found this book simple to read while conveying a beautiful message. I especially liked how the book was simple in a way that children would have no problem independently reading it for themselves. I commend the author for also including comparisons with the Bible, a difficult thing to do given the complexity of the Bible. Of course, the author packs this book full of positive messages, such as the promise of eternal bliss so long as they do what is right and what is expected of us from God.

I enjoyed how Bella became the curious character in the book after Emma dreamed of heaven. Not only was it a relatable way for children to learn about heaven, but it also appropriately depicted the enthusiasm and curiosity that should accompany this book while reading it.

I also enjoyed how this book was in no way preachy, like some books sadly are when addressing religion. I found I could enjoy this book with my family, which was not as familiar with Christian ideology. I also enjoyed the illustrations, which, while simple, really work well to enhance the story. I enjoyed the attention to detail in the illustrations, especially how God’s face is never depicted, as no one can look upon his face.

I could find no fault in the book at all. The editing was also excellent, with no mistakes.

I rate this book five out of five stars. I found it an excellent aid when teaching my children about basic Christian morals in a simple and engaging way.

There is, of course, no inappropriate content, and everything in this book perfectly reflects Christian morals. I consider this book to be appropriate for all, regardless of religion, as the book refrains from being overly preachy. I would say those generally interested in learning more about Christian morals would find great value in this book too.
