Monk, Terrence, Polo, Cara, Fromage, and Charlotte work for a detective agency run by Inca. The detective agency has helped to solve some major mysteries. Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula covers events that happen within eight days in April.

Mom had just been selected to be one of the judges of the French patisserie competition organized by Le Cordon Bleu. Being in a competition that involved people from all around the world, she saw it as an opportunity to present her special cheese. Inca, her team members, and Mom embarked on their journey. On their way, they meet Enzo, another French chef; Fromage is skeptical about him. It turns out that Fromage's instinct is right, as Enzo tries to be nasty. This is only one of the issues they encounter. What other problems could be needing the agency's intervention? Find out by reading this book.

The book was beautifully written by R.F. Kristi. There were so many aspects of this novel that I appreciated, as well as so many lessons to be learned. The appealing images used in the book were ideal because it was written as a children's book. The story was illustrated in the images. I appreciated the author's use of short sentences. I considered it crucial to keep young readers' interest.

The plot was fascinating. It caught my attention since it seemed unusual. The book's use of suspense was impressive. Also, the execution of the book is quite commendable. I enjoyed how the book was divided into everyday occurrences; each day held a surprise. I loved that this book contained lessons to be learned. I liked reading about Inca, the main character, since she came across as incredibly confident. This book also stresses the value of working hard. The book was flawlessly edited, and I was unable to detect any mistakes. There was nothing to dislike about this book.

I am not taking away a star from my rating of this book because I found everything about it to be satisfactory. This book is deserving of a perfect rating. I rate this book 5 out of 5 stars. I recommend this book to young readers. If you enjoy children's literature as an adult, you should read this.
