The chair's affection for children and its animated gestures in 'The Movie Chair' make for a heartwarming plot. I'm eager to discover how the chair's fate unfolds amidst the theatre's renovation.

This is a great review! I read the free sample introducing the Movie Chair and her fondness of children and dislike for romance movies watched by adults. Like you, I liked the story and the awesome illustrations. I agree that both children and adults of all ages will enjoy this brilliant fable.

Normally I do not read children’s books because the subject matter are always the same but this one is different. The chair has a life of providing care to its users but who will care enough to make sure this chairs existence is not obsolete? Guess I’ll have to get the book to find out.

It's intriguing and amusing how the main focus of the book centers around a chair that 'longs' for the presence of humans, especially children.

While it may seem trivial at first glance, I'm confident it delivers important messages, much like many children's books do.

This book is so creative. Imagine that theatre chairs have feelings as this book portrays. I'd like to read the story of the chair that loved children, and what later happened to it.

This sounds like an interesting children's book with subtle, but deep meaning. After reading this review, I am intrigued by this book, and feel it would be very suitable for my clever four year old daughter.

My childhood is filled with stories about inanimate objects like pencil, shoes or animals with human feelings. Would love to read this too for my inner child. Plus, this can be a cure to book hangover. Congrats for bwing #botd.

Your review was very interesting in that it described how the pages were laid out. That was a good idea. You have made the book sound so appealing I will be putting it on my “want to read list” and if it turns out I agree it will be going on gift giving list for the little ones in the family.

I completely agree how the arts are too nice, it kind of gives me only Indian style art, what do you think of?

This is a delightful children's book that weaves a heartwarming tale around a chair in a movie theater. The story, complemented by skillfully crafted illustrations, teaches valuable lessons about kindness and the rewards it brings. The book's layout, with images on one side and the story on the other, enhances the overall reading experience. Nice review.

'The Movie Chair' by Shari Borkin seems fascinating. I am sure that children who get to read this story will pretend that they are on a movie chair the next time they go to the movie theater. I am curious to know what became of the movie chair. Congrats on BOTD. Nice review.

The book really teaches about the importance of giving and I like the part we're the chair was the one that had helped the children to buy snacks at the cinema.
