Snatched up to heaven for kids is a children's book about the concept of heaven and Jesus. The storyline is a compilation of dreams of eight year old Emmy who narrates her dreams every morning to her parents and younger sister Bella. The authors use the dreams of Emmy to explain the teachings of Bible in a simplified way.
The bright, colorful illustrations along with the narrative from the perspective of an eight year old girl makes it easier to understand for the children.
Emmy asks God for letting her visit heaven again and again after the first dream which says about perseverance and the dedication of faith. The angels in white carry Emmy and her sister Bella to heaven where they see and learn many teachings of God. The beautiful depiction of heaven with the rainbow, light, streets and city of gold, huge gate and door depicts the verses from the Bible.
Through her dreams, Emmy and the readers learns that in heaven, animals live in harmony with humans, wounds heal and everyone is healthy and strong and there is no sickness or pain in sight. The lesson " God Rewards us when we obey and punishes us when we disobey" is also beautifully made part of this narrative.
Not only the fascination about heaven, but also her fear of hell is also written in this book. Emmy's father teaches her the important teaching of life that we all do sins, but what makes God forgive us is that we repent our sins.

I liked the concept, illustrations, the art, the color palette chosen for the art, how the family is depicted as a whole. The editing is done well. The book has 35 pages, but does a great job at explaining the basic concept of morale, God, importance of faith. For this reason, i give this book a 5 out 5 stars.

I recommend this book to parents who wants to introduce their kids to the teachings of the Bible from early age. This book helps with introducing and understanding of God and what being a good Christian is, to the children. The illustrations keep the kids engaged and interested.
