Snatch Up to Heaven for Kids was a nice quick read. The story contains cute drawings of the family and sets an image for kids to read and helps them to imagine the story better. I enjoyed the illustrations of the family and the different settings of the story. The illustrations are very colourful and easy to understand. It is educational as almost each page there would be verses from the Bible. It is a nice introduction to Heaven with a page or 2 about Hell.
It is perfect for Christian families who want to spend time with their children, helping them understand their religion. The author has also included footnotes of each verse that were being used on each page. It is perfect for Christian families who want to spend time with their children, helping them understand their religion. The author has also included footnotes of each verse that were being used on each page. The author has also included a small message for parents as well, which is thoughtful.
The story itself was very easy to understand, with no difficult words. It was nice to see that each ‘chapter’ was somewhat connected but was also separated at the same time. Each section of the story has a hidden message. Which is nice way to help parents bond with their child, by asking what the hidden message is. I would rate the book 4 out of 4.
Though, I would say that it would be nice to include other genders and not just have 2 girls, as I find that it might not be inclusive to other children. As the only male figure would be the dad. I would say that it is not for a bedtime read, as Hell is described with enough vivid details along with the illustrations, which some children might find unpleasant.
Overall, the story was a nice read with illustrations on what Heaven and Hell is and soft introduction to the religion. But would not read for a bedtime story. For this reason I would rate the story 4 out of 5.
