Mary Grace has the ideal existence. Her parents are loving carers who understand her needs. She adores her particular little brother very much. She looks forward to going to school and likes studying. She is surrounded by really lovely people. There is nothing better than this. Yet when her parents tell her one of the worst things she has ever heard, her idyllic world abruptly comes crashing down. What may the issue be? Why must she relocate to California from her cherished home? How will the two siblings adjust to their new surroundings?

Donny is my favourite character in Catherine Anna Pepe's adorable children's book, Donny and Mary Grace's California Adventures. Even though he was born with Down syndrome, he is neither a burden nor an idiot. I adore his outlook on life. His weakness is his strength. Although he may not be as intelligent as other children, he is less susceptible to negative events than other children are. Mary Grace is upset and furious over the sudden changes, but Donny doesn't seem to mind. After a brief conversation with his father, he suddenly feels better. He even turns into his older sister's pillar of strength, supporting her as she stands up again.

This little story has a lot of insightful insights. The Grandma Gang, for instance, solves crimes without attempting to hold the guilty parties accountable. Instead, the victims decide to assist the offenders in atoning for their crimes. Donny, on the other hand, doesn't allow his mental condition to get in the way. No matter what occurs, he still makes the most of each day, and his upbeat attitudes make the narrative more enjoyable.

The story also emphasises the issue of bullying. Bullying can take many different forms, and acts of non-violent aggression are also counted. Threats and nastiness are two examples. Furthermore, this isn't only a problem for teens. This problem can affect even young children in elementary school. Children shouldn't keep things to themselves and suffer in silence when that occurs. A smart answer is to consult with adults they can trust.

The editing is carefully done. I am happy to give Donny and Mary Grace's California Adventures 5 out of 5 stars since I have no issues with it. It is a good option for individuals seeking a touching tale. Children and adults alike can draw valuable lessons from the characters' interactions with one another. There was nothing to dislike in this book. Pop
