Donny and Mary Grace's California Adventures (A Grandma Gang Mystery) by Catherine Anna Pepe is a tale about a cheerful young boy called Donny and his vibrant sister called Mary Grace. Even though Donny is special because he has Down syndrome, he is forever optimistic. For Donny, every day is a great day. A time came when Donny's parents went on a missionary journey to Africa, and Donny and Mary Grace were sent to live with their grandparents, pending when they returned.

The climax of this awesome tale began when Donny and Mary Grace were sent to a new school that accommodated a bully who always wanted to pick on Mary. Little did the bully know that Mary Grace knew self-defense. After many moments, Mary Grace finds more friends who love adventures and solving mysteries in The Grandma Gang. I can't say everything; please read this book for more details!

I like the general concept of acceptance portrayed in the book. Donny is a special kid. Special children should not feel as if they're lacking anything. Therefore, we must treat them equally. The author delivered the book with exceptional editing, and the words employed in it were simple and easy to understand. The book is brief; readers can finish it within two days (198 pages).

I did not dislike anything in the book. The author wrote the book in honor of his brother, who had Down syndrome. I support the author and appreciate his love for his brother. The book's cover is colorful and invites readers to take a second look.

As a result of my likes and general analysis of the book above, I rate the 5 out of 5 stars. The book is recommended to kids and parents for tales by Moonlight. Teachers might also find the book handy for teaching morals to students and discouraging bullies.
