I think this will be a great book to introduce the topic of what rescue dogs are to children; however, the grammar errors are a turn-off, unfortunately. Hopefully, the author will send his book in for editing. Thanks for the review.

I admire the author's love for his dog. I also think reading this story would help the children to treat their own pets with kindness and love. It also sounds like a fun read. Congrats to the author on BOTD!

Sounds like a nice children's book about a beloved pet. I'm sure many children, parents and teachers will appreciate it.

A cute little story about Bear who is adopted into the author's family. It was rather unexpected to find out that this story was actually based on the author's real life.

Rescue dog Bear has added pep to the otherwise flat routine. The colorful pictures are enjoyable scenes to both young and old family members. The storyline could bring families closer by reading and sharing the fun together before bedtime. Thanks for the uplifting review making readers enjoy all the chapters in the book.

In 2003 Mr Porter and his family wanted to have a dog in their family and they visited a nearby animal shelter in Texas. They got a puppy named Bear, they all loved the presence of Bear. Daniel and Joshua took care of Bear so much and it was also chassing rabbits, after it growened up.

I've read biographies about many wonderful people; this is the first time I'm reading one about an animal, a dog. And since I love dogs, this is my kind of book.
