This is a children's book titled "The Pearl Necklace" by Tina L. Townsend, which is part of the Katie's Adventures series. Katie discovered she could breathe underwater after she fell asleep, and a sea horse named Sebastian approached her, telling her that she was the only one who could save Oceania from a killer whale named Brutus, who wanted to conquer the entire ocean.

The wording is clear and concise, making it easy to follow along. The illustrations are vivid and colourful, just appropriate for grabbing a child's attention, and they complement the text on each page. At the end of each page, the author provides some interesting tidbits of information.

The interesting tidbits that were listed at the bottom of the page were a lot of fun to read and even included some information that I was previously unaware of. I thought the writing style went wonderfully with the visuals, and I loved all the bright hues and unique designs. Katie's selflessness and the book's underlying message are two of my favourite parts.

The only issue I had with the book was that, while I was able to read it on Amazon Kindle, the text on Kindle Unlimited was straining on my eyes while reading, so I switched back to the version the author provided. I reverted to the other format because it was easier on my eyes, but this issue won't affect the rating in any way.

Even with the problems I've noted, I still give this book 5 out of 5 stars. Since I didn't notice any mistakes in the text, I think it was edited to perfection. The plot held my interest, and I was left wondering what would happen next. The ending was also very satisfying.

I would suggest this book to kids between the ages of four and ten who are interested in magical experiences and marine life.
