The Sky is Raining Rabbits is a children's book by Arwa Alaujan, published by Austin Macauley Publishers in 2023. It tells the story of Mariya, a 10-year-old girl who lost her beloved cat and adopted a cute rabbit to cope with her grief. Her real life and her adventures get intertwined with her rabbit and the adventure of queen Silvia and her prime minister meme in exciting events, and in the end, she could overcome the pain she had.

I enjoyed reading this book, as it was a heartwarming and imaginative tale of friendship, loss, and healing. The author did a great job of creating a relatable and sympathetic protagonist, who goes through a realistic emotional journey after losing her pet. The book also explores the themes of empathy, compassion, and acceptance, as Mariya learns to love her new rabbit and understand the feelings of others. The book is full of colorful illustrations that complement the story and make it more engaging for young readers.

The book also has a fantasy element, as Mariya's rabbit turns out to be a magical creature who can transport her to another world, where she meets queen Silvia and her prime minister meme. This world is full of whimsical and humorous characters, such as talking animals, flying cars, and raining rabbits. The author uses this fantasy world to create a contrast with Mariya's real world, and to show how she learns to cope with her sadness and find joy in life again. The book has a positive and uplifting message, that even in the darkest times, there is always hope and happiness to be found.

I would rate this book 4 out of 5 stars, as I think it is a well-written and enjoyable book for children. One of the standout aspects of the book is its flawless editing. I did not come across a single typo or grammatical error, which significantly enhances the reading experience. The attention to detail in the editing process is evident, allowing readers to fully immerse themselves in the stories without any distractions.

However, I deducted one star because I found some minor flaws in the book, such as:
- The book has some plot holes and inconsistencies, such as how Mariya's rabbit can talk and do magic, why queen Silvia and her prime minister meme need Mariya's help, and how Mariya can travel between the two worlds. The author does not explain these aspects very well and leaves some questions unanswered. The book could have benefited from more world-building and logic.
- The book has some scenes that are too violent or scary for young children, such as when Mariya's cat dies, when Mariya and her rabbit are chased by a giant snake, and when queen Silvia and her prime minister meme are attacked by a group of rebels. These scenes are not very graphic, but they do create a sense of danger and fear that might be inappropriate for the target audience. The book could have toned down these scenes or added more humor and lightness to balance them.

Overall, I think The Sky is Raining Rabbits is a good book for children who like stories about animals, fantasy, and adventure. It is a book that teaches valuable lessons about coping with loss, finding new friends, and discovering new worlds. It is a book that will make you laugh, cry, and smile.

A good book for kids. It helps them value what they have.
