"Chubby Wubbles: A Ferret's Tale" is a children's story written by M. J. Abrams. The narration is based on a true incident and introduces us to the world of two ferrets, Chubby and Coco. These ferrets have great chemistry and spend their days eating, playing together, and enjoying the care of their owner, Mark. One day, Chubby woke up and couldn't find Coco. From here begins another phase of their lives. The present moment is lonely and worrisome. What does the future hold? Can Chubby and Coco ever meet each other again?

This is one of the most amazing children's stories I have read. The first sentence captured my attention. I wanted to know Coco's whereabouts and see the ferrets continue with their fun. The narration is fluid and is punctuated with appropriate illustrations. Chubby and Coco are so admirable. You can't watch them without experiencing some dopamine release. I occasionally smiled reading how easily Chubby and Coco got along.

What appealed to me most were the moments Chubby spent with Jeffrey, Mark's younger brother. It felt great reading about what a wonderful person Jeffrey is. He makes time to play with Chubby and provides him with items that will make him comfortable. This reduced Chubby's anxiety over Coco's whereabouts. Mark is also a wonderful person. The issue he has is that he is always busy and somehow seems to place his work first, but his sense of responsibility is commendable, as he promptly made the necessary arrangements to ensure the ferrets' safety and comfort.

I liked that simple word choices were made in crafting this story. Children should have no issues with their comprehension of it. In addition, this is a well-edited work. I found just two typographical errors in it. Overall, there is no complaint to report about this book, so I am glad to rate it five out of five stars for the intriguing storyline and fascinating illustrations.

"Chubby Wubbles: A Ferret's Tale" is a suitable read for children aged three to seven. Adults who love animal tales should also have a great time with this book.

This children's story sounds unique. I've never come across a children's story about the closeness and connection of pets. Now, I have. I think this will be helpful to pet owners.
