Roarasaurus: The Roaring Soaring Dinosaur by Great-Aunt Rita (and she really is GREAT!) with lots of help from Jake and Elina Farber, is an absolute joy to read out loud to children! My two children, ages six and four, were thrilled by this book. They both love dinosaurs, so I knew this was the right pick for my two little ones.

Roarasaurus takes us on a short and sweet adventure about a toy that has a few surprises in store for Jake and Elina, and of course, Great-Aunt Rita too, who had no clue what she had gotten them into with her purchase of a Tyrannosaurus Rex toy. Great-Aunt Rita goes to the toy store to get her nephew Jake a toy. She picks up a Tyrannosaurus Rex toy that catches her eye, but once Jake opens it and they put the batteries in, chaos ensues. Who knew a toy could hold so many surprises for this little family? My children were delighted by the funny little twist at the end. They even jumped up and laughed. What caused such excitement? You will have to read it to find out.

I also appreciated the lesson in this book about facing fears and taming what may seem scary. What a wonderful lesson for little ones who can find themselves scared of even the little things in life.

This children's book was well written with a sweet child-like tone. It felt like Jake and Elina, who helped write the book, were telling us their tale. It is even more exciting that this cute little book is based on true events.

I gave this book five out of five stars because I found no errors at all. It seemed to be expertly edited and written with care and love.

I would recommend Roarasaurus: The Roaring Soaring Dinosaur by Great-Aunt Rita (and she really is GREAT!) with lots of help from Jake and Elina Farber, to parents and children who love dinosaurs and adventure. This book is sure to bring your little ones just as much delight as it has brought me and my children. My children even asked me to read it again!
