Steavie Tenderhearts has a problem. He cannot go to sleep without being kissed two times. So, he sends an invitation to all the animals around his house to come and kiss him so that he can sleep. Every animal, from a lion to an ant, comes to him. However, the rest of the kids in the neighborhood also want to be kissed. Thus, the animals decide to hurry and finish their task by midnight. Will they be able to meet the deadline? Read the book to find out more.

I love how the book begins and ends with an assortment of beautiful quotes. The author, Steve, challenges young minds to use their imagination to visualize the story. However, children will not be overburdened. The descriptions are simple and precise. They are written in a language that can be easily understood by kids. In addition to this, children will learn so much from this book, especially the names of animals, colors, and basic vocabulary. The fonts are large and easy to read. Kids will indirectly learn healthy habits like not snacking at bedtime and closing the closet doors. These lessons are sneakily interwoven throughout the story. The narration is funny, and true to the author's words, there is a lot of 'leg pulling' that is bound to make any child chuckle. This collection will surely make kids excited to read a bedtime story. The book was professionally edited, with no errors that I could spot.

There was nothing to dislike in the book. However, I do have a suggestion. While the author does away with drawings and pictures, I recommend that the fonts be colored so as to draw the attention of children.

Stevie Tenderheart Books A Second Kiss Goodnight (A Bedtime Story) is most suitable for children aged between five and ten years. Parents and teachers should consider getting this book, as it has a lot of knowledge that children can learn. Considering all the above arguments, I rate this book five out of five stars.
