Fractionally based on the truth, Stevie Tenderheart Billie Jack (The Great Escape) is an adventurous short story about a very smart and explorative Billy. Billy Jack hated having to go to bed during the daytime. On one such occasion, he decided that he had had enough and started planning his great escape. He made a detailed mock body to leave in the bed while he went on to play with his friends, but apparently, not everything went according to plan. If you’d like to read more about this restless little genius (he was very smart indeed), go ahead and find out all about his brilliant ideas.

This book was an amazing adventure for me. I was surprised, yet I couldn’t contain my laughter every now and then. The sparkles of reality make it even more fun and interesting. The author’s writing style is dynamic and intriguing. I appreciated the author’s additional work in defining any advanced words that a child could find hard to understand. Additionally, the inserted pictures match the passages and make it easier for a child to imagine the scenario. In my opinion, the book is just the right length for children aged 8 to 12. Additionally, the book was exceptionally well edited, as I have come across no errors.

There was no downside to this book. I am sure children will find it funny, creative, and entertaining.

I rate this book a well-deserved 5 out of 5 stars for its humor, easy readability, interesting plot, and the author’s thoughtfulness.

As I have mentioned, I would recommend this book to children aged 8 to 12 years old. They should be able to understand all the jokes and imagine the scenarios well. I have read Stevie Tenderheart’s other books as well, and I can conclude that their books are great entertainment for kids.
