The story then takes us through how these animals come to fulfill Stevie's wish, kissing him good night. The reader is left in suspense, wondering if every animal will complete the wish of a second good-night kiss.

It beautifully narrates the story, starting with an exploration of Stevie's mischievous and dream-filled nature.
