Laible's bedtime story is an imaginative and fun-filled book with worthwhile morals as well. It features a little boy, Stevie by name, who is to go to bed early enough but finds it impossible to sleep without having a first and second kiss on his forehead or cheek from all the creatures, as many as they are. This is amazing!!!

How is he able to cope with the peculiarities of each animal? Would he stay awake all night if he was unable to get this kiss in a day? What if there is a serious issue in the animal kingdom?

My favorite character in this story is the monkey. He exhibits his playfulness to the core. He does give the kiss but stays behind for a while to swing around the room, open drawers, and keep dirt. This part got me laughing seriously.

Stevie Tenderheart Books: A Second Kiss Goodnight (A Bedtime Story) by Steve William Laible is recommended for children as well as adults who are lovers of imagination, bedtime stories, fables, and morals. The book presents children as a major part of the world, as small as they are. They are indispensable because of their tender-heartedness, free spirit, innocence, fun-filled minds, and unexplainable wishes. They contribute largely to society, even in their unawareness.

Laible's writing prowess is top-notch. He presents the book in a simplified and interesting language. He uses humorous expressions that are capable of making the reader laugh and relax his muscles, not only at bedtime but at any time of the day. He writes to paint the imagination in the reader's mind and to make the reader feel himself or herself even in the depths of the book. He presents this book for the utmost enjoyment. Also, he presents the animal kingdom as a united and determined society. This is a lesson for us human beings to work together in love, cooperation, and with a determined heart. Through this, quick development will be birthed.

I am rating this book 5 out of 5 stars. I did not dislike anything in this book. I found no errors in it, and it suits the audience it is intended for well.

I think that kids would really enjoy this book. Stevie seems to have a problem that many children would be able to relate to. I also enjoy how the authors of kids’ literature use animals to display the typical human emotions that are involved. Thanks!
