In his book, Sopo Hatches, Eddie Goldfarb demonstrates one of the greatest lessons our children need to learn to be part of a quest to save our planet from the consequences of uncleanliness.

In this children's book, we meet a little green frog who laid 30 eggs at the same time. In the Amazon rainforest in Peru, we experienced how these tadpoles experienced growth while living and trying out their jumping skills. Now, we will experience Sopo, a character I would like you to meet. He was the smallest, yet the fastest to swim. What's so special about Sopo?

It was amazing how the author created a beautiful description of what being an animal feels like in the Amazon rainforest in Peru. We see how the monkeys, fish, and frogs display their harmony, as they live together in this forest. I loved the simultaneous discussion of the frogs' growth process. But I loved most the introduction of Sopo's character who gave readers a clue to the essence of the book. Sopo believes that bathing time is a fun time. Most children believe this as well. The author created a solution to the problem of environmental issues.

My only worry about the book was the sudden transition from the flow of the frogs' lives in the forest to the eventual lesson the book taught. In other words, readers will feel taken unaware when they flip to the last part of the book only to discover a different side of the book. This will be the case if a child takes hold of the book. But this may not be a serious problem for an adult reader. But I'm just worried about how the child would feel about the transition.

My overall rating for the book is 5 out of 5 stars despite the negative aspect I mentioned. The fact that the book was exceptionally well edited added to the reason I gave it a perfect rating. The book deserves the perfect rate because it will flow well with children's animal fantasy. Children who learn best from animal lessons will enjoy this book.
