Loretta, a teenage girl, is the main character in Catherine Somerton's children's book, "My Newf Friend." She is dealing with a number of challenges, including the end of the school year and exams, the comments of an exchange student, the illness of her aunt, and the fact that her family has recently adopted a Newfoundland puppy, which is a dog that requires a lot of attention and care. Learn if Loretta manages to keep all of these things in check by reading this great book.

The author addressed the typical challenges that a teenager has on a daily basis, such as being bullied, having a new pet, keeping up with schoolwork, training a dog, and having responsibilities. This book will hopefully be of assistance to others with regard to the topics that are discussed in it. I have no doubt that a great number of children will find this book enjoyable and relatable.

I found this book to be really wonderful, and I believe it would be an excellent choice for teenage girls who are preparing for high school and the stress that comes along with it. It is impossible for me not to fall in love with the characters, and I find myself able to identify with them because I was a teenager at one point in my life. I found it impossible to put the book down, and I couldn't wait to find out what the next chapter would bring.

Due to the fact that I adore everything about this book, I will be giving it a rating of four out of five stars. The only thing I didn't like about the book was that I found a lot of errors, which made me think that a professional editor hadn't edited it, so I took one star off of it.

This is a book that I would recommend to teenagers who are having a hard time juggling too many things at once and have too much on their own plates. I am of the opinion that individuals who adhere to the Christian faith will have a greater appreciation for this book because it has a great deal of religious content weaved into the story.
