Review of Stevie Tenderheart Books A Second Kiss Goodnight (A Bedtime Story)
Stevie Tenderheart Books A Second Kiss Goodnight (A Bedtime Story) by Steve William Laible is an excellent tale to read before bed. The story is quite current, even without illustrations, and it appeals to both parents and kids. This amusing story tackles issues related to going to sleep, fosters creativity, and supports an optimistic outlook. Little Stevie loves adventurous adventures and has a big imagination. He loves sleeping in his bed and dreaming big fantasies while curled up beneath the covers. He came up with a plan to make it easier for him to go to sleep faster, though, as he finds it difficult to drop off to sleep in the summertime when it's a bright day. He determined he needed another goodnight kiss before he was able to sleep. After leaving a message on a certain tree asking all animals and other creatures to help him, many different sorts of critters quickly arrived in response to Stevie's request. How much goodnight kissing can he manage to take?
Parents and kids alike may find it difficult to put their children to sleep. A humorous bedtime story's customs and traditions can support this by appealing to children's sense of humor and enabling parents to put their young children to sleep. Since there are no pictures in this story, kids can use their imaginations, which encourages creativity. To evoke mental imagery, a lot of vivid details, relatable elements, and analogies are used throughout the narrative. Known local settings, well-known legends of fairies, and ridiculous activities like popping toss open a worm-filled can all be mentioned. These objects serve as mental signals to stimulate the imagination rather than restricting it because the narrative is told from a third-person perspective, which is why it is perfect for spoken reading. In order to transform nighttime into a joyful and memorable bonding event, adults can enhance the experience by narrating the narrative in a variety of voices and noises.
I enjoyed the story and felt it had a really original idea for a story for kids. I liked the story right away since its creator began it by offering a lovely tribute to the kids who would read it. The narrative's focus on thankfulness was the aspect that I found most appealing. The fable also urged children to treasure common pleasures like enjoying the drizzle and sniffing blossoms. It serves as a reminder for kids to always accept kisses from their guardians. The work concludes by summarizing what was learned and discovered and featuring the creator's best quotations and illustrations to further support his cause.
I give this book 5 out of 5 stars. The novel's symbolism is a great method to help readers see the scenes as they read them, and the language itself is straightforward to understand. The book's editing was quite good, since I could find no mistakes at all. I had no complaints about the way it was written or the narrative when I finished reading and drafting my assessment.
I recommend it to those who want to share with their children engaging stories before bedtime. It seems like a wonderful way to enjoy moments with their kids and help them go to bed. Given how straightforward and simple the content is to comprehend and how engaging the narrative is, I believe it might be appropriate for younger kids who are just learning to read.
