Will You Talk to Me? is a children's book written by Margie Carstens that teaches kids about self-confidence. The main character is a little girl who loves to look out her window. One day, as the little girl looks out her window, she spots a hummingbird. The hummingbird fascinates the little girl, and after watching the tiny bird chase away a much larger hawk, she decides to ask the hummingbird where he gets his confidence from. By the end of the story, the hummingbird reveals some very important wisdom to the little girl that will resonate with readers.

I am almost 25 years old, and I loved this book. I loved the message, and I thought the illustrations were beautiful. You can tell the book was edited extremely well because there are no typos or errors anywhere. I cannot wait until my daughter is a bit older so we can enjoy this book together.

The downside to this book is that even though it seems to be written for children of all ages, I would not recommend it to children who are below a third-grade reading level unless it is being read to them. That is because there are multiple sentences per page and big words like "mesmerizing" and "intimidating." I have a 5-year-old daughter who is in kindergarten, and I cannot see her having the attention span or reading ability to read the whole thing on her own.

Overall, I think that Will You Talk to Me? deserves a perfect rating of 5 stars out of 5. That is because I love the book's message about self-confidence, which is good for both adults and children. However, it is important to keep in mind that this may not be the best book for early readers to read on their own, so it is best to read it to them.
