[ i ]Snatched Up to Heaven for Kids By Jemima Paul and Arvind Paul [ /i ] is a beautifully illustrated book for kids.
The family comprises of a mother , father and their 3 daughters .
This absolutely engaging plot starts with Emma the elder daughter waking up one morning with a dream about heaven.
Pretty much excited to tell her parents she narrates , the way she and her sister Bella the younger one are carried to heaven by angels and is mesmerized by the beauty of heaven.
Days pass by her dreaming daily about the beauty ,the illumination ,the perfection ,the weather of the heaven.
She narrated how she was welcomed by Jesus himself in his golden house and how appealing the flowers ,fruits , animals and life was in heaven with every creature living in harmony and how innocence is a real virtue to cherish for ever.
Dreams proceed with Emma meeting angels dressed in white and even meeting Queen Esther .
She dreams of how people were rewarded based on their deeds.
One day she wakes up scared as she saw hell ,which disturbs her a lot , but her parents comforting her by explaining the existence of both heaven and hell and how hell could be avoided , how with our believes and good deeds can really make our way to the heaven.
The book is an amazing masterpiece for kids and for parents to inculcate positive parenting for shaping kids minds at an early age.
I as a parent to a 3 yrs old believe, that a child's mind is tabula rasa , this way of communication is definitely a powerful way of equipping their young minds with a mechanism to guide them emotionally and mentally through out their life.
Dreams are manifestation of the subconscious .This book gives an insight of how the parents were constantly communicating with their kids regarding bible and religious knowledge and how her dreams were actually the teachings from Bible.
I loved the detail when Emma said that there were no lights in the heaven and Jesus was like a lamp lightning everything.
The book is really visually appealing and kids so have a sharp edetic memory, such beautiful visuals will definitely makes a long lasting impact on their mind.
I appreciate the simple yet authentic way used by the parents to explain the aspects of the dreams , reflecting their absolutely perfect parenting style.
There was nothing that i disliked about the book.
The book is edited to perfection.
I would certainly rate this book as [ b] 5 out of 5 . [/b ]
