Being a superhero does not necessarily mean you have to possess superpowers, and this is portrayed in Toni the Superhero by R. D. Base. Toni is a young boy who loves to read, work, and clean, and this makes him not just a regular boy. It made him a superhero. These colorful illustrations show little Tony and all that he does.

I loved this book. Toni portrayed good morals, which will help children develop good virtues and morals. Toni showcased that one does not need to have super strength or fly to become a superhero. His story shows that the good things we do are what make us superheroes in society. This is a very important lesson, considering how most children in today’s society lack basic morals. Toni also helped his mother, and this will teach children to always help their parents. In fact, there is a lot to learn from this book.

The author is very knowledgeable about the factors that can pique the interest of children. Children are known to like large and colorful pictures, and this is the description of the images in this book. They were big and very colorful, and I am sure that any child will remain glued to this book. Another good thing I noticed about this book is that the sentences were kept short and simple. Considering the short attention span of children, this is a good feature because it will help children not lose interest quickly. This book was also very short, and I am sure that no child will get bored with it.

I rate Toni the Superhero 5 out of 5 stars. It is an entertaining, educational, and fun book for children. There is nothing to dislike about this book. I found no errors in it. This shows that it was exceptionally edited. I recommend this book to children between the ages of 7 and below. They will definitely love it.
