NICO By Marlene Rattigan is a fascinating and well-illustrated children's story. The book features two young children and their nanny, who narrates how she transforms into a bat at night and flies around while they are asleep. She also tells them how she witnessed the police pursuing a suspected robber who had climbed on their roof one night during her adventures.

The story excited the children so much that they wished they could see her flying. They even requested her to record a video and show it to them. The author did a great job with the plot and character development.

Using the first-person narrative style and a conversational tone made the story relatable, lively, and engaging. Moreover, the illustrations are descriptive and help tell the story, befitting the genre of the book.

The book seems professionally edited and contains no profanity or explicit language. Therefore, it is suitable for young children. I give the book 5 out of 5 stars because I didn't find substantial typos or grammar mistakes worth denying a five-star rating. Also, there is no section of the story that I didn't like.
