What comes to your mind when you have a new mate? Farmer Beau’s Farm is a children’s book written by Kathleen Geiger that showed friendship. Kathleen simply demonstrated to accept the current situation you are in. Acceptance of the new things in life is a good start wherever the place might be. Anyone who likes children stories and storytelling for bedtime reading will enjoy reading this book.

Farmer Beau’s Farm gives emphasis on love, friendship, kindness and acceptance towards each other. This story of friendship and kindness will change your perspective on your friends. You will notice how the two animals managed to have a new mate in their lives. Imagine that you have a field of soybeans, and corns that surrounds on your house. This looks like the farm of farmer Beau. He loves to take care of his flowers as well. He also had a lovely wife named Bamma who likes to bake and sew.

One day, farmer Beau noticed something around the garage. They found out six little kittens playing in the lilies. The couple gave them food, but could not hold them from leaving. They managed to have one kitten and named her Kailey. Kailey enjoyed the farm, and met a stranger that does not look like her. Is this stranger harmful to Kailey? It is a cute bunny named Sammy, her new pal. But, the new friends are worried upon arriving a new animal. Why? What kind of animal is this that has a long neck?

I like the way Kathleen illustrated friendship in this book. Getting to know each other with a friend depends on a person’s temperament. Observing each other’s character like Kailey and Sammy builds up a sweet kind of friendship. Accepting a new friend sometimes hard because you are still aloof with each other. Building up rapport makes your adjustment goes smoothly. Kathleen’s idea of acceptance and adjustment makes me attracted to this book.

The pictures look like you are watching a cartoon movie. It is captivating to the eye and attractive to children. The font and its color match the pictures. It also introduces new words like romp, tinkering, and burrowed to young learners. It is professionally edited. I did not find any typos or misspelled words in this book. I rate this book 4 out of 4 stars. It is a good book for storytelling to children and, a source of fun.

Your summary does a great job of telling the reader what the book is about. I also love that you included the theme of the book in the beginning; a great determining factor for parents. The illustrations do seem unique and from your review the book seems quite enjoyable for children.

This beautiful story has very good moral theme for children. Friendship and acceptance help children to tolerate others. I would like to read this book. Its a very comprehensive review. I like it.

Your review has laid out a good deal of what this book is about. I especially love, that you pointed out some qualities of friendship , if read , children can learn from it and then integrate it into their own lives.
Parents will want to read it first to themselves and second to their families.
