Toni the Superhero, written by R.D. Base, a mother and wife who loved reading as a child and still takes time to read as an adult.

The author writes about Toni, a child and a superhero who possesses extraordinary powers and abilities to save the world, but this is not the only thing Toni does. Remember that Toni is a child, and being a child is fun and demanding in its own ways. The book tells us about the activities Toni carries out during his free time (the time in which Toni is not saving the world). Toni loves to read books; this shows that Toni is willing to improve his knowledge about himself and the world at large. The author explains some duties Toni carries out as a superhero, like rescuing animals. Toni possesses flying ability, so this ability enables Toni to fly and rescue animals in times of need.

Toni also loves to do sports activities like running and swimming, which are all fun exercises that help keep Toni fit and healthy. Toni also loves to help with house chores; this helps to keep the house neat and comfortable for living. The body needs food to be able to function; that's why Toni does not fail to eat, as he needs the food to carry on with activities and save the world.

I love the writing style of the author; it is so simplified and easy to understand for children, and the drawings that the author shows are so relatable and show examples of how certain activities are being carried out. I admit that including a healthy style of living in Toni is such a great idea. Since the targeted audience is children and parents, it will show that living a healthy lifestyle is of great importance to humans. I certainly don't have any criticism for this book; everything done by the author was okay for me.

I recommend this book to parents who are willing to teach their children about living a healthy life. I rate this book 5 out of 5 stars because of the flawless editing and the values that children can learn from reading it.
