The book Mouse Trax by author "M. H. Dixon," provides great reading for both young and old. "M. H. Dixon” provides great rhyme and poetry within the story. This is a story of a mouse’s adventures in life. This mouse, named Another Mouse, was raised in a library. He managed to teach himself to read and learn about all kinds of things outside the library.

Another Mouse leaves the comfort of the library and ventures into the outside world. He encounters various creatures that he has read about but never spoken to. Each creature he speaks to has different personalities which shows the mouse a completely different image of each animal. This was different from what he had learned about just from reading. Each creature sends him on a different pathway as he searches for food and a way back home. As he tries to make his way back home, he gets lost. He did not pay attention to where he was going or where he had come from.

A young person reading this book, or having the book read to them, will find the story full of mystery and adventure. The rhymes used throughout provided an interesting change of pace in the mood of the story. This book provides an excellent opportunity for parents, grandparents, or caregivers to discuss the different personalities of the creatures encountered. Lessons can be learned about making judgements regarding physical attributes or preconceived ideas based on comments from others. A lesson can be learned about going out to learn about the world around us and doing so with caution.

I would rate this book 5 stars out of 5 stars. I do not think that the book needs anything to improve it. This book did not have any errors in it that I could see. It was just long enough to keep the reader wanting more.
