This story is about another mouse, the last of seventeen, born to his parents behind the baseboard of a small library. Another mouse has always been different and curious; he taught himself how to read and learn about the world beyond the library. One afternoon, the door to the patio was left open, and his curiosity got the best of him as he decided to take a look. Going out, he saw a beautiful garden of flowers and a maple seed, which he ate but couldn't find more of.

Then he met a butterfly that told him there was more somewhere, and he followed it till he couldn't anymore as they got to a cliff, but the butterfly flew ahead. Turning back, he tried to find his way home and got lost, encountering different dangers. He was also lucky to get help from some other animals. From reading this book titled Mouse Trax by M. H. Dixon, we join Another Mouse on an interesting adventure.

The book is a very interesting story, and it has a deeper meaning to life. It is short and adventurous, and it has these poetic verses that are fun and interesting. There are lessons in the book where The Great Climber praises and educates us on the importance of hot air balloons, among many others that can be found in this book. The book had funny comments that made me laugh, like when it said, "But then as he sat and thought and sat and thought some more, a light came on, not on his head but on a nearby grassy mound." I liked Another Mouse's relationship with One, as they portrayed parasitic relationships differently, as it's just nature.

I'll rate this book 5 out of 5 stars because I have no dislikes for it. While reading it, I encountered just an error, which shows that it was professionally edited. I recommend this book to young adults, as it would benefit them.
