Pete and June think they are mature enough to know what's best for them. Well, most kids think the same way at some points and in different situations. Alright! Let's follow Pete and June as they protest, learn, and adjust.

The first thing you need to know is that Pete and June feel that they should have a say when it comes to brushing their teeth, going to bed early, eating veggies, having a pet, and getting along with each other. In a nutshell, they are adventurous, and they want to explore life in its unlimited entirety!

Well, with every choice of theirs comes consequences, like what happened to them when they refused to eat veggies and opted for the "foods they like." These instances teach children priceless lessons on responsible living and obedience to one's parents. I like that the kids come back better informed and that the narrative is crafted in a way that helps readers learn along with the characters.

Aimee Andren did a great job with the characterization. The characters Pete and June are relatable. I liked that they were given the chance to explore, learn, and grow. Mom and Dad's approach to child-upbringing was impressive. Children learn better under certain conditions, and Mom and Dad played important roles during those moments of learning.

I enjoyed reading "Mom and Dad Are Always Right: The Misadventures of Pete and June" and do not think there is anything that could have been done better. The beautiful rhymes, rich illustrations, and flawless editing made reading memorable. I am delighted to note that this book offers children a non-judgmental avenue to learn and grow. And for the kids with behavior issues, I am sure they will have a second thought after reading about Pete and June's misadventures! In addition, this story encourages parents to raise their children with compassion, love, and respect. Considering all of the above merits, I rate this book five out of five stars.
