The Blue Sea Monster: Terrorizing Palm Beach written and illustrated by Norma Fleagane, James Fleagane, Blake James Ward, is a children's book about a brave boy, Blake and his grandfather. Children were kidnapped every time they go to the beach by sea monsters, so Blake and his grandfather try to get rid of those monsters and to get all the children back home.
I loved this book a lot. At first, I thought it was going to be ordinary like any other adventure story, but, proceeding with pages changed my mind and it turned to be exciting and unique of its kind, the adventure kind. I like the idea a lot, which I think it kind of makes the children more cautious when they are alone in an open place. The favourite part to me was how Blake and his grandfather acted with such courage, fearing nothing and used their intelligence.

I like the book very much as a whole, but, I hated how the writers didn't specify if the sea monsters will remain getting back to the beach and kidnapping more children even if they were saved every time. I think it was meant by the writers to make the readers think about how monsters will act in the future and/or there will be another part, who knows.

I also didn't like when it had some words which were not convenient for me for a child to read, for example, using "very ugly", but this doesn't eliminate the idea that I love this book so much, and I loved its simplicity. I have to mention the very special part which affected me a lot, and I think it will affect anyone at any age, that quote that the grandfather mentioned at the end, and I think it is very touching and it would be very stirring for the children when they read it.

I rate this book 4 out of 4 stars, I don't have any problem with this book, although I am not fond of some parts which I mentioned previously. I would consider rating this book with 4 stars, not 3 and not 2 because I found such excitement in reading it, and I actually want to read another part if it is possible. I highly recommend this book to anyone and all children, but I think it will be more fun and exciting if it is read with a lovely grandpa or grandma.
