The symbolism in your review is not lost on me: the grim reaper and Jesus tattoos fit right into the redemption theme. Also, it seems that wherever there is a story about substance abuse, the military connection is not far behind.

Addiction is a monster that upends countless lives. I hope the two young men can recover from their addiction. Congratulations on BOTD!

Addiction is a creeping menace and I am so glad there are people out there who are availing materials to sensitize the youth on the effects .
Such an awesome read.

Addiction is a serious problem and I'm sure many readers will appreciate this book. I'll skip it but I'm sure it's a great book.

There's uniqueness in this book; a fiction story inspired by non-fiction experiences. This self-helpful and inspiring story is driven by mental awakening.
Reading is a journey to the world.

This seems to be an inspiring read; a fiction influenced by a non-fiction theme of drug addiction. Thank you for this review!
The disappearance of the word "I am" is indeed the highest happiness! :)

I'm interested to see the lyrics included in the novel. It seems like an inspiring read for young adults and new adults.

Since the title literally contains the word "redemption," I am not surprised to learn that it is about the redemption arc of the protagonists. Congratulations to the author for BOTD!

I'm not sold on the whole theme of the book. I mean, I understand the resolve around the book and recognise an appeal that might exist for a particular audience, but to me this "redemption from drugs" trope has been overplayed.

Alot of young men nowadays resort to smoking and drinking as a way of relief ,when in actual reality it's not,it just eats you up and once you're done with the stuff you gon face the same problems you were running away from...for a fiction story ,like this one I think everything about it is on point and realistic , actually trying to spread awareness to young men and women out there ,.... Beni had a rough background and on top of that not doing your best in school when his parents sacrificed a lot.
This story is kinda like a moral lesson to a lot of people out there,. And it's quiet interesting especially when it comes to the musical part ,the lyrics and musician names and all..
Otherwise the book was on point 👏I actually learnt a lot.for me it's 4 out 4.
