I loved reading The Daughters of England series by Philippa Carr and The Agincourt Bride and The Tudor Bride by Joanna Hickson, which kind of starts off the chain of events which lead to the Tudors taking the crown from Richard III, in my opinion. Also, if you want to go back to the start of it all I suggest The Fatal Crown by Ellen Jones and there are two books that come after that; Beloved Enemy and Gilded Cages. There is another series that I'm working through as well, which is from the French side called the Accursed Kings Series by Maurice Druon. The first book is called The Iron King. It's translated from French so at times its heavy going. Good luck!

For Egypt, I highly recommend Son of the Light by Christian Jacq. He's an Egyptologist and this book starts his Ramses series, which is great.

For historical fiction, I love conn Iggulden and bernard cornwell but I'd also particularly recommend Monsoon by Wilbur Smith.
