I am also a fan of Greek Mythology, and I appreciate how the book is mixed with a dramatic storyline and historical fiction. Your reviews are always captivating, Bertha. I can't wait to read this book for myself. Congrats on BOTD!

I think there will be breaking the rules of not marrying a foreigner and my guess is Pericles will do it. I think this book also weaves an interesting fate of Pericles and Aspasia as they navigate their life in Athens. This duo will make this book wonderful to read. Congratulations to the author on BOTD!

So it is understandable that the description provided in review interested me greatly, ensuring I will read the book at the first opportunity. Not the biggest fan of historical fiction like this but i’m happy to give it a go. Looks lengthy though so it’s likely to last me a good while! Excited to read on.

Wow! I would really love to read stories of myths, magic because I really love watching movies of gods, they are always interesting. But I really want to know how Zeus gave birth to Anthena through his head. It's quite surprising though.

I have already read so many books with mythology in them and this doesn't draws my attention and doesn't make me read it immediately. It is not a pretty mythology and always leaves me unsatisfied with the ending. Two main characters are unlikable. The review is fantastic.
