The story seems very interesting. I have read a few books about Nazi Germany before and sstill want to find out more. The family's story seems very interesting and I'd love to read this book.

Am interesting family drama, although fictional is definitely rooted in history. It is the type of novel I would enjoy reading as it demonstrates how people were influenced even though they may not have shared the Nazi rhetoric.

I am immediately intrigued after I read the word "Nazi" in this book's title. It would be fascinating to learn why the protagonist is blaming herself for what happened during the Nazi's reign in Germany even though she was just a little girl.
Congratulations to the author for BOTD!

Nancy Saling Graham has done a great job discussing the issues in this book with a simple, easy-to-follow language. I also like that the book was well edited. These then prepares readers for an uninterrupted read about the heartbreaking activities of the Nazi Party and how almost everybody was a victim, even the family of the narrator.

I'm not a passionate reader of fictional stories. However, I was endeared to this one because it was emotional. Life wasn't easy for the main character at all. I hope she was able to pull through in the end.

This book is very endearing because it focuses on the story of a family. However it sounds sad. Nazi Germany broke many hearts. Some are still healing to this day. I wouldn't read this book because I know I would become attached to the characters and concerned for them. Still, thanks for the review!
