John Morrissey is an amazing character. I love how this story begins. As a boxing fan, I really enjoyed the story. I think John Morrissey would go on to become a world champion. I love this review except that I noticed a few grammar errors while reading the book. So it's safe to say that the editor didn't eradicate all errors.

I like such stories where the protagonist rises from being nothing to being something. I'd like to see how fighting becomes a successful career. Congratulations on being the Book of the Day.

This seems like a meaningful book with a deep message. Many people could learn from the themes of perseverance, focus, and ambition. I am glad to hear that John didn't let his past define him. Thanks for a great review, and congrats to the author on BOTD!

I usually avviso books written in third Person, but the I loved the concept of Ambition. It revolves around John whose family Immigrated in America in 1830's, when he was just an Infant. And how his childhood was rough due to his addictions and outlying behaviour, he was also criticised for being Irish. His mother was concerned of him throughout there earlier days. He wanted to be a fighter, overall I liked the concept as I mentioned earlier. But personally for me it lacked the personal touch that is expected in love stories. I am romantic at heart and have read over 50 love story. I appreciate a good Romance but Ambition lacked the personal touch for me. I can See potential here as the writing style overall was good. Maybe other books by the author can work for me.
