Minus the foul language and adult-scene, this sounds like a thrilling book. Adventure, intrigue, and self-realization by Joey appeals to me. Great review!

I have read a few pages of the Da Vinci Code. I can't remember why I never finished it. Anyway I am amused. Joey only understands himself at the end of himself? Intriguing! It's sad that a young audience cannot read this book because there's a lot to be learned about honesty.
But the path I’ve chosen has always been the right one, and I wouldn’t have had it any other way. :)

Sounds like an interesting mystery. I wonder what could be hidden in the painting. Thanks for this review!

I was going to talk about how this book reminds me of Da Vinci code, I can see everyone shares the sentiment. Betrayal would always occur in really dire situations. It's the nature of humans, sadly. Great review

I enjoy fiction that somehow revolves around a famous painting. Somehow art historians make great novelists. Thanks for your review!

This book sounds right up my alley, I love both The Day Vinci Code and National Treasure. I share your concerns about the language used and unwarranted adult scenes that don't add to the point.
