This seems like an amazing story. I had once read about the gold rush in the US, and reading the first paragraph of your review, I got excited to read a similar plot on minning and the Wild West. Thanks for this engaging review!

Excelente review! I'm not much for period pieces, but I do find the wild west a fun setting. I must say, the amount of characters does sound a bit overwhelming, glad to know the author does a good job tho.

Excellent review that matches the vibe of the book you provided. I haven't read a lot about this topic or even a lot of westerns, but I enjoy history so I am willing to give this book a chance, especially because action packed fast paced reads are stories I enjoy. Adding to my long TBR

I’m fairly new to the world of historical fiction, and while it was not something I ever thought I would be interested in, I’m finding more and more books to prove that it may very well be one of the best genres out there. A story like this, for example, seems like something that would really be worth my while. I hope the book shines as brightly as your review Steve.

Hi, Benita. Thank you for commenting. Historical fiction is my favorite genre. I am confident you will enjoy this story as it gives a realistic picture of the Wild West and the Gold Rush days.

Great review! Sounds like a fun, action-packed read with a lot of interesting characters. I’m intrigued by the setting and the way the author brought the town to life!

I love fast paced stories with action and a realistic portrayal of the past. The diversity of people in Royce and how they came together to build the town really captivates me. Thank you for the great review.

What a rich review! I liked how your review answered all the questions of an interested reader. The story has a lot going on. The opening of the story piques my interest. It starts off with a dramatic twist to it. I am excited to read this book.
